Burton Amateur Swimming Club (BASC) was established in 1878 to provide competitive swimming for those in Burton on Trent and the surrounding area. The club is run by volunteers and is based at the Meadowside Leisure Centre in Staffordshire.
We are a diverse and inclusive club with around 160 members currently aged between 7 and 70+, and we are always looking for new members to join our club.
As a SwimMark accredited club, we offer a mix of fun and hard work, providing opportunities to unlock the swimmer’s full potential and be the best swimmers that they can be.
We offer high-level coaching for competitive and aspirational swimmers in the area, providing opportunities to compete at County, Regional and National level competitions.
