Nathan Wells is believed to be the first Male swimmer in our region to win all 3 Mens Individual Medley Trophies at the SE East Reional Short Course Championships (Luton 4th-6th Nov 2022)
24 year old Nathan had a fantastic SE ER Winter Regional Championship making 7 finals over the weekend. Winning 3 gold and 2 bronze medals.
The 3 Golds were a clean sweep of titles across the Individual Medley events – 100IM (final 57.22) 200IM (final 2:03.99) and 400IM (final 4:31.18) This, Nathan’s father (Lewis Wells) believes is a first for a Norfolk Male swimmer and also a first for an athelete within the East Region (tbc)
Nathan had specifically targeted training for these events and that hard work paid off as he took home the trio of East Regional Titles for the Individual Medley Events. Nathan works full time and trains with West Norfolk Swimming Club.
