Three of the West Norfolk Swimming Club Masters Squad took on the 9th Masters Open Meet hosted by Newmarket SC on Sunday 7th April, medaling in every single one of their events.

Kicking off the day, Jurate Smulkiene was first in the water with a personal best time in the 50m Freestyle earning her a Silver medal which sat proudly alongside her two other second place finishes in the 50m Breaststroke and 100m Freestyle events.

Tracy Dodds took to the water for only her second ever 100m Butterfly swim, bringing home a Gold medal and an all time new personal best time.

Continuing with her Butterfly prowess, Dodds swam another all time best in the 50m event in the afternoon session which meant that she grabbed the Silver medal ahead of the fierce competition.

Hayley Turner took on six events throughout the day, gaining three personal best times in the 100m Backstroke, 100m Freestyle and 100m IM events, concluding the day with three Gold and three Silver medals.

Some tough swims by all but each medalled in all of their entered events.
