Thirty seven swimmers from West Norfolk Swimming Club have qualified for this year’s Swim England East Region Long Course Championships.
The championships will see three weekends of competition in both Luton and Norwich.
Luton’s Inspire Sports Village kicked off the action with three days of racing from the 19th to the 21st April.
The University of East Anglia’s SportsPark facility in Norwich will then play host on the May Bank Holiday weekend – with racing from Saturday 4th all the way through to Monday 6th.
The third and final weekend will again be hosted at SportsPark on the 9th and 10th May.
Each West Norfolk swimmer travelling to the championships is doing so in style thanks to the kind sponsorship of Carl Ringwood of Wisbech Electrical – who visited the swimmers at Alive St James Swimming Pool in King’s Lynn on Thursday 18th April to present each of them with a new club tee shirt ahead of the first weekend of racing.
