A hugely successful weekend for West Norfolk Swimming Club at the Warwick Thompson Memorial Gala on the 25th and 26th February saw an amazing 101 medals between them and win the top visiting club trophy.

Top contributors were 10 year old Den Vojevoda securing 9 medals (8 Gold: 200 Individual Medley, 100 & 200 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 50 & 100 Butterfly, 50 & 200 Freestyle and 1 Silver in the 100 Individual Medley ) along with 10 year old Elizabeth Litvinenko who took home 8 medals (7 Gold: 50 & 100 Backstroke, 50 & 100 Breaststroke, 100 Individual Medley, 50 Butterfly and 50 Freestyle and 1 Silver in 100 Freestyle).

Arabella Bishop (13 years) and Olivia Haddock (14 years), contributed to the haul with 7 medals each. (2 Gold: 100 Backstroke and 200 Butterfly, 4 Silver: 50 & 100 Butterfly, 200 Backstroke, 200 Freestyle and 1 Bronze: 100 Individual Medley) and (5 Gold: 50 & 100 Freestyle, 50 & 100 Butterfly, 200 Breaststroke and 2 Bronze: 100 Backstroke and 200 Freestyle) respectively.

15 year old Poppy Peebles had 5 medals to her name (2 Gold: 100 Breaststroke and 100 Individual Medley, 3 Silver: 50 Backstroke 100 Butterfly and 200 Freestyle).

Securing 4 medals a piece were; Charlie Hill (14 years – Gold: 100 Individual Medley, Silver: 50 & 200 Breaststroke and Bronze: 50 Butterfly), Juan Verdoes (12 years – Silver: 100 Freestyle, 200 Individual Medley and Bronze: 100 Breaststroke and 100 Butterfly), Logan Greenwood (11 years – Gold: 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Butterfly Silver: 200 Individual Medley), Nellie Chadderton (11 years – Gold: 200 Breaststroke 200 Individual Medley, Silver: 50 Butterfly, 200 Backstroke) and Ruby Stewardbrown (13 years – Gold: 50 Backstroke, 100 & 200 Breaststroke, 200 Individual Medley)
